eufy SmartTrack Card E30 Rechargeable Wallet Tracker Only Needs Once-a-Year Charging

We love the Apple AirTag, but the thick size and round shape just makes it hard to squeeze inside your wallet without making it feel a tad too awkward. Seriously, it creates an uncomfortable bulge. Yes, AirTag wallets with dedicated compartments are nice, but wallet-specific trackers designed for use with Apple’s Find My network work even better, since you can use it with most any wallet. Like similar products, the eufy SmartTrack Card E30 takes on a credit card shape that makes it perfect for slipping in a wallet. Unlike most of them, though, this tracker comes with a rechargeable battery, making it easy to keep reusing over and over.

That’s right, this wallet-sized tracker has a rechargeable battery that you can simply replenish once it runs out. Even better, the battery can last a full year between charges, making the chore of recharging the darn thing, pretty much, a hassle-free affair.

The eufy SmartTrack Card E30 is a card-shaped tracker designed to fit in the card slot of any wallet, so you can use it with traditional billfolds, phone-attached MagSafe Wallets, and any other popular wallet design. It measures 2.4mm thick (around the thickness of two credit cards), so it’s not quite the slimmest we’ve seen, but it’s compact enough that it should fit into any card slot without much trouble all the same. We’re guessing part of the reason it’s thicker is because they’ve designed it to be water-resistant, so you can get caught in the rain with your wallet in tow without worrying about damaging the electronics.

Of course, what makes it special is the rechargeable design. In this case, it uses a magnetic pin connector to replenish, which can be attached to a USB-C cable to hook up to your power source, According to the outfit, a full charge of the battery can last up to a year before needing to be replenished, so you don’t have to worry about another device to charge regularly.

The eufy SmartTrack Card E30 uses Apple’s Find My network to quickly locate your lost wallet anywhere in the world. In case you just can’t find your wallet in the room, it has an 80dB alarm that you can trigger, which should be loud enough to easily let you find the wayward wallet. You can even activate a “Left-Behind Alarm” that will trigger the card to make a sound if it detects you’ve left your wallet accidentally, whether it be at home, in a restaurant, or a drawer in your office desk.

There’s also a companion eufy App, which, when installed, adds even more features to the tracker. For instance, it lets you use the tracker to find a missing phone in the same room (double-tap the card to make your phone ring), share tracking data with family and friends, and read the built-in QR code on the card (in case you find someone else’s tracker). Since it uses Apple’s Find My network, of course, it’s strictly for iOS users.
